Personal Description:

I am a lifelong learner and believe that everyone can be encouraged to extend their learning well beyond the classroom. As a French tutor, I focus on assisting my students to achieve academic success by helping them with things like writing, reading comprehension, and study skills. In addition to my extensive tutoring experience, I am also patient, knowledgeable, and a skilled problem solver.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed my undergraduate studies then, I obtained a bachelor's degree specializing in Political Science and Government. I then went on to complete a master's degree and a J.D. I have nearly 20 years of tutoring experience and have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adult students, helping them in a variety of different subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it is important to meet a student where they are academically and work with them to establish what their goals are. Building rapport and connecting with a student is important, as well as determining what their motivation is and challenges are. I use this information in order to develop a learning plan tailored to each student's needs.
