Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor and I work primarily with high school and college students. In addition to helping students who are studying general biology, I also tutor related subjects such as physical science and microbiology. Growing up it was really difficult for me to figure out how I learned best. It was through private tutoring that I discovered my learning style and techniques to help me achieve my academic goals. I now enjoy doing the same for students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in health sciences and I am pursuing my Ph.D. in naturopathic medicine. I've previously worked as a high school physical science and chemistry teacher and I've been tutoring since I began my undergraduate studies.

Tutoring Approach:

Each student should be taught the way they learn best, not the way the teacher believes is most convenient. Using a personalized approach is the most effective way to cement knowledge in a student's mind.
