Personal Description:

My name is Daniel and I have seven years of experience in teaching and tutoring. Trained in Ireland I have been teaching in schools in BC for the past 4 years. I am fluent in French and have recently returned from France with a group of students. I am passionate about French and instilling a love of the language in my students. I also have experience teaching a wide range of subjects including social studies, science, earth science and language arts. I am comfortable providing general academic support, as well as focusing on one particular subject area. I have also provided tutoring to adults seeking to learn and/or improve French.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in working together with parents and teachers to identify what the student wants to achieve, as well as involving the student in this process. I am an open minded, friendly and enthusiastic educator and I love what I do. I have received strong feedback in the past with my students expressing their enjoyment, as well as satisfaction, with surpassing their goals.
I am currently teaching in Victoria, as well as coaching several school sports teams. Overall, I believe in lifelong learning and I aim to share this with my students.
