Personal Description:
Hi everyone, my name is Dan, and I am a recent MSc graduate from the University of Toronto, having studied pharmacology in both my undergraduate and graduate education. I am passionate about knowledge dissemination: that is, taking complex topics and explaining them in a way that everybody can understand.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over three years of tutoring experience, covering topics in Language, Math, and Science. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school to university, and have taught students at all skill levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I strongly believe that education is not about what you learn, but how you learn. As a tutor, I don't just give my students the answers. Instead, I act as a guide so that they can arrive at the correct answer through their own work. I help build up my students' confidence, and give them new insight in approaching new problems.
