I help elementary, high school, and university students succeed in their studies, and anyone else who wants to improve their understanding and use of the English language.

I have an advanced degree in English and now that I have retired from teaching, I am pleased to be able to offer my services to all ages and grades on a personalized and individual basis.

I write excellent letters, essays, papers and exams. I can help your writing shine.

I am much smarter than AI and I don't rely on input by random people, as does AI.

I am flexible, knowledgeable, patient and kind.

Don't go to university until you understand what is expected of you. They won't teach you how to study, how to juggle multiple deadlines, and how to research, write, and cite papers, so we'll work together so that you understand these things, and papers become easy.

Everyone: If you are looking for help with reading, vocabulary, sentence structure, comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, spelling or anything to do with English, look no further!

I don't offer discounts, except for groups, because I feel that doing so cheapens the experience. If you're looking for a deal, perhaps you're not ready to commit.

Tutoring Experience:

I retired early from teaching but since I love to teach and prefer one-to-one rather than a classroom, I now tutor. It's more effective and efficient for the student, and with individualized focus we can overcome any weak spots or confusion so that school just feels easier and makes more sense.

I tutored overseas for 3 years and have been tutoring in Canada for 21 years now.
