Personal Description:

I am an excellent instructor with the knowledge and skills necessary to guide students through a variety of biological concepts, such as gene regulation and the laws of thermodynamics. I enjoy being a biology tutor because I can provide the individualized attention necessary to make a difference in a student's academic development and outlook.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor in Arts in General Biology and went on to complete my Ph.D. in Microbiology as well. I routinely participate in journal clubs and conferences on the study of pedagogy. I teach at a local university, instructing students in non-majors biology. I have a lot of experience in teaching biology, as well as a test prep instructor.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that teaching goes both ways. I strive to give my students the tools they need to build their knowledge effectively and efficiently. We can work together to set goals, discuss academic needs, and more.
