Personal Description:

I thoroughly enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I believe that every student is unique and that they each deserve a personalized approach to teaching and tutoring. This has been my approach to instruction, whether I am mentoring young students as a math tutor or teaching a high school course.

Tutoring Experience:

I received my master's degree in Education with a Reading Endorsement and my bachelor's degree in Special Education with a minor in Elementary Education. I have experience as a classroom teacher for students from many different backgrounds in both private and public schools.

In addition to working as a classroom teacher, I also worked for a mentoring program where I supervised other mentors and helped plan activities for children and their families.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student is unique, so their lessons should be personalized to cater to their learning style. I do my best to make every tutoring session fun and relatable to the student. If a student is having trouble with a concept, I break it down into smaller parts that are easier for the student to understand.
