Personal Description:

As a biology tutor, I help students with high school and college level subjects. My specialties include anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, physiology, and life sciences. I can help in AP Biology as well. No matter how hard a student struggles with their coursework, I try to make the process rewarding, exciting, and fun.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and pursued my graduate degree thereafter. I was also a medical student and plan to begin my surgical training shortly. From 2014-2016, I tutored extensively while working as a research coordinator, and was chosen to be a peer tutor for introductory biology students while in college.

Tutoring Approach:

Engaging students is the key to exciting them about the subject, which is when I think they learn best. I'll break down complex concepts so they're more understandable. During a first session with a student, I will identify their goals, create a plan, and present material and practice problems in a way they can relate to.
