Personal Description:

I am a Student Teacher at the University of Victoria training to be an elementary teacher.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored elementary mathematics. As a part of my program, I have developed lesson plans in a variety of subjects and implemented them in a classroom setting.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to match my tutoring approach to individual pupils. For instance, when tutoring a girl with strong visual intelligence, I would present math problems in a visual manner. I find that allowing my pupils a large degree of freedom helps keep them interested and engages. Making mistakes is ok!
