Personal Description:

I am enthusiastic about tutoring because I enjoy seeing a student finally grasp a topic that had previously caused them frustration. I believe a student has to experience some discomfort before they are able to achieve their goals. As a tutor, I try to learn the fundamentals that my students may be missing so I can catch them up.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in International, Macro, and Monetary Economics. Econ is my favorite subject to tutor and I continue to learn more advanced topics. I've been tutoring since I was in school. I have a passion for learning and share that with my students.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm interested in simplifying economics and approach problems with the question "why" rather than simply "how." Once my student understands the philosophy behind a problem or concept, they can then apply that knowledge to other similar problems on their own. I like to get to know my students a bit before we dig into the tutoring.
