Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Ben. I struggled in school primarily because I had a hard time focusing, so I'm interested in helping students like me learn more about this amazing world we live in as a chemistry tutor. I can present information in multiple ways to help it resonate with a variety of learners. I have a background in chemistry, physics, physical science, math (up to Calculus I), and political science and would be willing to tutor any of those subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught middle school geology and literacy, so I understand how to adapt my lessons to a younger demographic. I hold a bachelor's degree in Geology and a master's in Education.

Tutoring Approach:

When I work with a student, I try to make the material I'm teaching as accessible as possible, whether that means calling attention to its real-world applications or relating it to something significant in my student's life.
