Personal Description:

I am a second year computer science student at McMaster University. My strengths revolve around technology and mathematics. I am free most evenings and weekends to help you with your studies.

I believe when teaching someone, you should put yourself in their shoes. They don't know of a topic which you know about. It makes it easier to show patience if to think the same way your students do.

Tutoring Experience:

I used to volunteer at a senior centre where my job was to teach seniors the basics of computers. This includes showing them how to log on to their computers, browsing the internet, setting them up with an e-mail address and the basics of Microsoft Office.

One of my summer jobs as a camp counsellor included teaching girls aged 12-15 about the disasters of the environment.

Tutoring Approach:

For anything which is related to school(such as math), I prefer following the textbooks and teacher handouts. If it unrelated to school(such as computers) I can teach from my own lesson plan.
