Personal Description:

Hello! I am a 4th year university student looking to expand my knowledge of teaching before enrolling in a consecutive education program with Brock University. I love to read and listen to music, and I also have a dog named Artie that loves to join in on any fun that is to be had. I also love to volunteer with my local community.

Tutoring Experience:

Some experience working with kids aged 5-7 in a nature school environment, as well as tutoring my own siblings in Math, English, and Science. Looking for more experience as well!

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make my own questions, as well as explaining topics learned at school to enhance understanding and help students grasp the questions themselves, so as to not 'do the work for them'. I believe that a strong understanding rather than memorization of a topic helps to learn with stronger recall and ability to grasp a wider variety of concepts (and ask better questions too!).
