Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Avery and I am a 18 year old girl from Canada! My native language is English, which I have learned from a family of only English speakers. This year I will be embarking on my first year at University, where I will be studying in French Immersion, which I have been allowed to do, due to my B1 DELF level in French. My favourite activities when I can get away from homework is running, reading, and studying other languages. I hope to be able to talk with you soon!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a French tutor at my school for the past year where my responsibilities included, organizing the daily activities, entering marks, reading and speaking with the students, and of course answering any questions they had about their work. I have been a reliable source for the French teacher that I aid, and I know that I am a helpful part of the class. I currently am tutoring kids from ages 12-17

Tutoring Approach:

If you or your child is looking for a conversation with a native English speaker, this is the way to go. There is no better way to learn a new language than to spend time speaking it with a native speaker. That being said, if there is any homework that you or your child is needing help understanding, I am more than glad to lend my expertise.

For those wanting to learn French, I can in no doubt help with learning the basics, but if you are looking for something more advanced, I would love to offer a conversation in French that you might not be able to obtain in your hometown. However, my level in French is that of a B1 (DELF) so if you are looking for something more advanced I am not the tutor for you.
