Personal Description:

I am a skilled instructor who can support students as they work towards their goals. I enjoy teaching math and can offer guidance in many areas. I can walk students through the math concepts they'll see on the ACT, as well as demonstrate different ways they can approach the problems. I can answer questions about math homework, as well as review earlier concepts like multiplication and division.

Tutoring Experience:

I started tutoring part-time in 2007. Since then, I have worked with students from elementary to college-level in a variety of fields, such as algebra, pre-calculus, and elementary math. I have experience helping students prepare for exams like the SAT as well. In 2010, I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Finance with a minor in Mathematics.

Tutoring Approach:

When I work with a student 1-on-1, I tailor my teaching style to align with their learning preferences. I incorporate educational games and realistic examples to help them gain a deeper understanding of the concepts.
