Personal Description:

I have worked as Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India for 6 years.
I did my masters from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India in 2012.

Tutoring Experience:

Some of the roles and responsibilities I took during my 6 years of university teaching experience are :
• Teaching Engineering subjects to undergraduate (bachelors) and post graduate (masters) students.
• Guiding Master’s students for thesis submission.
• Delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and laboratory sessions.
• Contributing for the development, planning and implementation of curriculum.
• Preparing academic tasks like tests, quiz, evaluating assignments and guiding students for capstone research projects.
• Mentoring the students on academic matters and career decisions.
• Attending departmental and faculty meetings, conference and seminars.
• Conducting research in the field of Wireless Communication.
• Maintaining and monitoring accurate records of students’ attendance and continuous assessment.
• Preparing instruction plans and syllabus.
• Preparing question papers and evaluating answer sheets.
• Performing invigilation duties in the University and Distance Education examinations.
• Preparing the students for placements.
• Performing admission duties during University admissions.
• Performing duties as Academic Counsellor being a member Academic Enhancement Cell.

Tutoring Approach:

I work on both academic and personality development of the student. We go in sync with each other to perform the best. The syllabus and curriculum is modified and adapted as per the tutee's caliber and innate skills he/she has got. This reduces the boredom and boosts the interest in the subject to learn new and updated information about the concerned subject. Ultimately, it is not about the subject but the perspective of the student about the subject and its implementation in the real life scenario.
