Personal Description:

Through my experience as a math tutor, I have figured out how to teach using the style that each student responds to the best. I have a plethora of tutoring and teaching experience with students at all levels, and I feel that I have developed a large range of useful tutoring skills along the way.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in nuclear engineering. In addition to tutoring elementary through college-level students, I have spent a lot of time teaching and training military personnel one-on-one. I can tutor any math topic, whether it's the basics like addition and subtraction or polynomial functions in college algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a personalized approach to tutoring my students. I figure out how they solve different types of problems, assess their thought process and needs, and then tailor the lesson plans to fit their needs. I figure out the textbooks and other specific materials they are using in their course to base sessions on exactly what material they are learning at the time.
