Personal Description:

I know what it's like to struggle as a student because I routinely needed a tutor support system to get me through my own classes. My tutors provided me with the guidance I needed to earn strong grades and pursue a career as a dentist, something that I hope to pay forward as a physics tutor by providing the guidance and mentoring my students need to reach for their aspirations. I excel at breaking complex problems into more digestible components, making physics more approachable.

Tutoring Experience:

I recently graduated with a degree in General Biology and plan to continue my education in dentistry.

Tutoring Approach:

I find that stressed students need a cooling-off period before they can go back to studying, so I calm them down and use positive reinforcement to build their self-confidence back up. I may also change my approach if there is a persistent learning obstacle we can't seem to overcome.
