Personal Description:

I am a grade 12 student at John Fraser Secondary School. I think that many people will benefit from me, especially in French because I have a very high level in French, I have lived in 3 french speaking countries ( including France), and I have a good pronunciation which will really help and benefit students. I can also help with English and math, as I have some background in both.

Tutoring Experience:

I have many experiences tutoring. One of these would be that I am a reading Buddy and the Meadowvale Public Library. As a reading Buddy, my responsibilities include helping kids between 6 and 8 years old read and understand books in both english and french. I have many experiences working with kids, which will really help me as a tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I think that many tutors and teachers in Canada, unfortunately, don't give the students a chance to like French. Many people would say that they hate the French language but this is because they only see the difficulties of it and not the culture and beauty of it. I think I would be a better tutor because I understand the beauty of the French language and I would first teach any student to understand what is behind this very rigorous language. I think that I would make a perfect tutor because though most tutors and teacher have official diplomas and certificates, I have knowledge of the whole background.
