Personal Description:

Hey there!
My name is Amelia, I am currently a University Student completing my Bachelor’s in Child and Youth social work.
I live on beautiful Vancouver island where i love to hike, swim, and explore nature.
In my free time i love reading, drawing (even though im not great), watching TV, listening to music, and getting outside as much as i can.

Tutoring Experience:

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late teens since I always had trouble with learning as a child and felt that school wasn't for me. I received tutoring in grades 8–11, which was really beneficial to me. I finally didn't struggle as much as I used to and received a lot of help understanding what was taught.

Tutoring Approach:

I would love to help young kids learn. I would love to use visual tools to help a child understand what they are learning (for example, using apples for multiplication and subtraction questions). As someone who always struggled as a kid, I would love to help your child be supported and succeed in what they are learning.
