Personal Description:

I have over 12 years of experience in a wide range of secondary, pre-university, and university level topics. I have always been passionate in teaching mathematics and in being able to share essential visions toward the subject that could help students enjoy mathematics and feel confident to approach a math problem in proportion to their level.

I have a masters degree in pure mathematics and a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. My background in mathematics is solid and I also have visions in philosophy of education, pedagogic approaches, and psychology.

I am fluent in English and have a functional command in French.

Tutoring Experience:

I have started my tutoring experience about 12 years ago. During the past 12 years I have taught all conventional secondary math curricula (algebra, geometry, probability and statistics and discrete mathematics) as well as calculus, linear algebra, engineering mathematics, and some other pre-university and university level topics. I have formal class experiences, as well, which include teaching assistance in calculus 2, teaching assistance in engineering mathematics, coauthoring two secondary (grade 9 and 10) level math books, and authoring an engineering mathematics solution book. I also participated to form and develop Karp maths institute in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tutoring Approach:

After 12 years of teaching experience, I believe in interactive method of teaching mathematics in which teachers form students' mathematical mind by asking guiding questions and breaking down complex concepts to step by step clear sequel of ideas.
