Personal Description:

I am a 17-year-old student who is currently finishing Grade 11 at Bishop Carroll High School. I do well in math at school and have finished Math 30 and Math 31 with a 98 and 99-grade respectively. Outside of school, I enjoy playing and watching soccer, and playing video games.

Tutoring Experience:

I frequently help my friends with Math questions and help them understand what they are working on. I have helped people in all the high school math courses (Math 10, 20, 30 and 31). I also often help my younger brother with his math homework, and have helped to improve his grades!

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is trying to make sure there is an understanding of what is being worked on, not just figuring things out on a memorization basis. I find that sometimes I can come up with slightly different ways of approaching problems and if that works for whoever I'm helping, great! If not, I will try my best to find a method that clicks with them.
