Personal Description:

Hello! I am a Mom of 2 who has a passion for teaching and learning. I have a BSc and a BEd and feel that tutoring is the perfect opportunity to teach while raising my kids.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught middle school Math, Science, and Japanese for approximately 6 years before starting my family. I also privately tutored Math and Chemistry during this time.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring would be similar to how I would approach teaching in the classroom with the exception that the student would choose the topic. I would usually check for proficiency in the necessary prerequisite skills, present a lesson with examples, then provide guided practice.
