Personal Description:

I am a current second year student moving into my third year in the faculty of Arts in UBC. I am currently majoring in political science and will be offering continuing tutoring services for the 2019 summer for high school students, specifically Social Studies 11 and History 12. I am quite intrigued by the political climate in Canada, international history of the 20th century, as well as even political theory.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored high school Social Studies even when I was in high school for about a year in my senior year of high school. Most of my students were actually my peers. I have continued tutoring throughout my studies at the University of British Columbia, which is ongoing for the summer. Tutoring multiple students has informed me of the alternative learning styles of students, which I take the upmost pleasure in accommodating.

Tutoring Approach:

I thoroughly enjoy tutoring a variety of students with diverse understandings of the material. I heavily take the progression of my students in their respective courses seriously and take delight in their development. I understand that different students learn material differently and am able to adapt to their respective needs and earning styles and help them use their skills to their advantage and develop more skills in areas that are proficient for the social sciences.
