Personal Description:

I see tutoring as a great opportunity to harness the power of one-on-one instruction. I am a clear communicator, and I am able to work as a math tutor with a variety of students. I am able to incorporate games and create a fun environment while still challenging students to deepen their understanding. During these sessions, I am able to work on whatever material a student likes at a pace that suits their goals.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in General Studies. I have experience tutoring students in a number of subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

Because keeping students engaged is so important, I work to learn more about their lives and goals. Then, I am able to help them create goals that suit their learning style. Also, I believe it is important to set clear expectations as a math tutor. I want to help students be independent learners while still providing excellent support.
