Personal Description:

I have learned methods for tutoring chemistry to students that help them grasp the hard-to-understand concepts involved in the subject. I've been helping peers informally since my high school years and I find tutoring chemistry to be extremely rewarding. I have been a one-on-one chemistry tutor as well as a tutor to small groups.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I have years of experience as a chemistry tutor. I can work with students in high school or college on topics like Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I can also help high school students who are taking AP Chemistry or Honors Chemistry.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it's important to explain chemistry to a student on a fundamental level. This can eventually lead to insights that go beyond classroom teaching. I develop an individualized lesson plan that matches each student's needs before I meet with them for each session. This makes our learning time as efficient as it is effective.
