Information About Joanne - Wakefield teacher - (5 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Joanne:
I teach from my home piano studio in Wakefield, and all students receive a warm welcome and as much support as they need while learning with me.
I recognise how nerve-racking it can be for adults to start learning an instrument - unlike children, they may have insecurities, high expectations of themselves, and a fear of failure.
I help my students work through their fear to help them progress and achieve what they are capable of.
I specialise in teaching beginners, returners and improvers of all ages… that doesn't mean only children :-) Adults will find a supportive environment here, even if you are very nervous.
Children learn best when they are enjoying themselves, and younger children especially need a regular change in focus, so I use a variety of activities and games to teach new concepts and solidify learning, alongside an engaging repertoire.
I have a busy private teaching studio and teach in local schools also.
PLEASE NOTE MY PRIVATE STUDIO IS FULLY BOOKED FROM 3.30PM EVERY DAY SO I CAN ONLY TAKE NEW SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO CAN COME BEFORE THAT TIME.

I don't doubt that with time and age my son will develop at a good pace.
I would recommend Jo to others with younger children. I am sure however, those of an older age would also be well suited and taught professionally through this tutor as she is well organised and patient.
A+ from me.
