Information About Angela - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

I have high grade qualifications in Piano, Singing, Flute, Violin and Music Theory. I have always enjoyed learning and playing music and performed in concerts and competitions winning prizes and trophies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching music since 2001 working as an independent teacher and through a music school where I eventually became part of the management team mentoring new teachers and sharing my resources, knowledge and techniques. As my own business grew I left and continued to teach independently allowing me in 2008 to set up Wynyard School of Music in Teesside, employing other teachers. As that music school grew, it enabled me to set up a second in Roundhay, Leeds. I have experience working and teaching in schools through Durham University.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that music learning should be enjoyable yet something should be learnt at the end of every lesson. Every pupil is different and should be taught in an individual way that suits their learning styles and needs.
