Information About Abby - Inverurie teacher - (2 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Abby:
I am a young, bubbly person with a passion for life- especially music. I began learning the violin when I was five and have never looked back. I was encouraged to try the viola by my teacher (himself a violist by preference) at the age of 14 and went on to study it at university in America, finishing my Music degree at Anglia Ruskin University due to family circumstances. I have achieved distinction in all my exams, have led both violin and viola sections in youth orchestras and sang in an awarding-winning youth choir, with whom I toured Europe.
I love to teach! My pupils have ranged between 7 and 60 years of age (it's never too late to learn!)
I like to adapt to my pupils' wants and needs and understand that some people want to take grade exams whereas others only want a teacher every few weeks for a bit of fun… or anything else in between! The same goes for repertoire. I believe that learning a musical instrument should be fun, but also taken seriously.
