Personal Description:
I am a self-employed teacher and freelance horn player based in Sandbach, Cheshire. I have been teaching Woodwind, Brass and Music Theory for 2 years.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching pupils at my home for two years and have taken all of my pupils through exams. I have entered pupils of many ages and many standards and I am pleased to say that they have all passed every time.
I have also worked as a peripatetic tutor for the Trafford Music Service and
I have experience working with the Doncaster Music Education Hub, with a variety of standards, instruments and group sizes.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that everyone can learn to play an instrument and grow as a musician. Music also has a way of bringing people together and I love to enable that connection to happen. A musical education and an appreciation of the arts makes a well-rounded person.
I hope to help my students become excellent musicians and confident, skilful people. I will listen to what the student hopes to achieve and what they enjoy and adapt my methods to suit them and help them achieve their goals.
