Tutoring Experience:
Sergei worked as a composer and music teacher for more than 30 years with students of all ages – from 5 to 65. Those years gave him some solid expertise in understanding learners’ needs and requirements in both – musical and psychological areas, which in turn allows for better and more effective lessons.
Tutoring Approach:
Assessing student’s abilities and talents first, then carefully designing a teaching plan according to students / parents requirements and implementing it on a lesson to lesson basis.
The composer’s background gives Sergei a possibility to create a customized personal approach for a student, which can work effectively to advance student’s performance at an exam, or a concert.
Preparation is available for graded ABRSM, Trinity, exams in Piano, Jazz Piano, Music Theory, Compositions,coaching in GCSE and A Level in music and exams.
Individual approach to every student.
Recently on my recommendation two of my students applied and were accepted to continue their music studies at the Purcell Specialist Music School.
Also, musical coaching is available for casual performances at parties, or just for private enjoyment.
Attention of senior students - learning to play music is more fun than solving crosswords and it is a very good brain exercise as well.
