Personal Description:

I am an International Concert Pianist, recording artist, RCM award winning graduate and private tutor (references available). I teach in St Albans City Centre where lessons are conducted on a brand new Boesendorfer 130CL Piano (agreed to be the best upright piano ever built), where I offer world class piano lessons focusing on every aspect of piano technique and music. I am passionate about music education and 50% of my students are keen amateur pianists over the age of 40. The drive to push my students, to exceed what they expect from themselves, is the reason I balance a busy performance schedule with teaching.

**Removed By Admin** I have and continue to record many videos for the pleasure and interest of my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a private tutor for over 15 years now, and have also previously been Director of Piano Studies at St Albans High School for Girls (Sunday Times Best Independent School in the UK 2016) and also at Aldenham School for a total of 8 years.

I am a competition adjudicator for festivals all around the UK, and have given public masterclasses at various teaching conventions and Schools.

Past students have gone on to gain distinctions at all the graded levels, and have won places at the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music to name a few.

Tutoring Approach:

Every lesson is considered and planned with a focus on a variety of skills that are important to succeed as a musician and pianist. From aural training, to technical exercises that I tailor to each individual; every lesson will have a little of something. Theory is also a huge part of learning the piano and a focus on this too can be useful when it comes to trying to memorise pieces, that would otherwise be very difficult.
