Personal Description:
I am happy to teach to you online through any media platform. I have plenty of time and experience and playing piano is very therapeutic. I have been a piano teacher for the last 30 years teaching any age or experience.
I am classically trained and also play contemporary and blues. please see my reviews from my lovely students.

She's making great progress, without being pushed too fast, which was previously spoiling her enjoyment of the piano.Sarah really listened to us as parents and pitches the lessons perfectly, with a mixture of technique and fun.

They are making great progress and genuinely look forward to their lessons with her as she is kind and friendly and makes the lessons really engaging for them. They are also happy to practice and the older one has even started to compose some simple tunes herself. Sarah is also extremely prompt and communicates with me really well.

I did not know where to look so tried FirstTutors the response was great and we decided to try Sarah. We do not regret this decisions, my daughter is really enjoying the lessons. From Ganesh (/5): Sarah come out as a very friendly and passionate piano teacher with more than three decades of experience. I Spoke to Sarah for almost 30mins after we got her contact details through first tutor. Had a great discussion about the methods of teaching piano for my two daughters. Sarah has very happy with a short commute to come and start lessons after her two weeks holiday. We waited Sarah to turn up for the first lesson but was no show blaming heavy traffic to get to my place. We still gave the benefit of doubt to her, only to pull out the following week - this time with an excuse to start the lesson after she makes up her mind about buying a new car. Turned up to be totally unreliable and we were so disappointed because Sarah ended up wasting our four precious weeks of lessons before the ABRSM exams in December!
Reply from: Sarah: I explained to Ganeesh that the first week all the tubes were delayed and also that I was having problems with traffic. I have always had very positive feedback from students and always contact them to let them know if there is a problem with travel.

From Al (/5): What an incredible teacher. Having never played piano before - now a couple of months down the line and I am playing basic pieces and slowly but surely reading music. All thanks to Sarah’s engaging style of teaching. I feel so fortunate I came across Sarah’s tutor profile here and genuinely, having a lesson with her each week is something I find myself counting the days down to. I really feel she’s ‘listening’ and is invested in my journey. She tuned into my ability and has set a pace of learning that challenges me but still feels rewarding. The sincere enthusiasm she has for my progress make this experience feel so lovely! I’m sorry to gush so much but I really think she’s a real ‘find’ as teachers go. I was on the fence about getting a piano tutor even though I wanted to learn for years. Having had rather joyless and disappointing experiences with tutors when I was a youngster - I’ve was apprehensive as an adult.
