Hi, I'm Sarah, better known as 'Sadie' :)
I am a first class honours graduate of Music from the University of Leeds, with DipABRSM in Performance, ABRSM Grade 8 practical in piano and ABRSM Grade 8 in theory, and I am based in Elswick, Lancashire. I studied under pianist Jill Crossland in Leeds and since then I have also received tuition from Kathryn Stott. I have been tutoring in practical piano and music theory since 2012.
I love to teach the piano, and have taught ages 3-70+ from beginner to Diploma standard. All ages and abilities are welcome to get in touch!

Tutoring Approach:

I have a positive and patient approach to teaching and include a lot of variation in lessons, switching between playing, theory, and games for children. However, I also think it's important to know what the student would like to focus on in a lesson, so we can spend more time on those particular aspects.
