My name is Roy and I am based in Ilkley, in close proximity to Ben Rhydding railway station. I specialise in acoustic music, Classical guitar, accoustic, guitar, bluegrass banjo and tenor banjo.
I have played in several ceilidh bands and now play with an Americana trio called Sand Dollar.

I endeavour to taylor all my lessons to my students needs, paying special attention to how the individual prefers to learn. Students are often recorded to provide a 'learning diary' and for providing feedback. Exam preparation can be provided where required and appropriate theory introduced as necessary.
