Personal Description:
I am a professional bassist playing a range of different styles from jazz to folk and classical.
Tutoring Experience:
I teach intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel double bassists onwards on proper technique in arco, pizz and left hand intonation.
For electric bass I teach techniques like slapping and tapping as well as solid practice techniques and right and left hand exercises.
I also teach music theory for bassists, as well as jazz theory, chord chart and sight reading and concepts for bass soloing.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to create strong voiced well rounded musicians who play the bass. I use exercises to develop confident playing, especially with regards to intonation on the double bass.

RonFrom Mareike (5/5): I had a one-off lesson with Ron. I found it really helpful and it did inspire me to start practising to follow up the things we'd covered in the lesson and gave me some new confidence. He's patient and explained things well so I could understand what was behnd the exercises. I'm run off my feet with a house move at the moment but I'm definitely expecting to ask him for more lessons once things have calmed down.
