Information About Robert - Glasgow teacher

Personal Description:

Robert is a fully self employed piano teacher in Glasgow and Ayrshire, Scotland.
Robert teaches piano for all ages but is especially enthusiastic teaching young people aged 4-18. Children can have very short attention spans so Robert tries to make the lessons as easily digestible and as fun as possible.
Robert also has grounded experience teaching mature students; with the eldest so far being in their 60's.
Robert tries his best to balance fun learning with the essential teaching of pianistic technique and basic theoretical understanding (which for some people can be one of the less interesting parts of the process).

Robert can teach people in Glasgow (lives on Dumbarton Rd, West End) and North, South and East Ayrshire.
Robert mainly teaches from his home but also has a car so can come to you instead, whichever you prefer. Robert also provides online lessons via FaceTime, Skype, Zoom etc.

Tutoring Experience:

Robert has been playing the piano since the age of 9 and has been teaching and preparing students for ABRSM exams in East Ayrshire since 2020.

Tutoring Approach:

Robert loves music and enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with students and tries his upmost to make the lessons fun and enjoyable.
He can take students through their ABRSM Grades and prepare them for their ABRSM exams.
But if the student prefers a more relaxed approach and for he/she to learn the pieces they want at their own pace, Robert is more than happy to do this.
