Personal Description:

My name is Rhiannon and I've been a full time piano teacher for 13 years. I'm originally from Canada and have lived in the UK now for about sixteen years, recently relocating from Brighton to London. I'm laid-back, friendly and enthusiastic about introducing others to the joys of playing an instrument. I'm a musician/songwriter/producer/singer and currently pursuing my own solo project. I began learning classical piano at the age of 8 and by the time I reached my teens I was playing grade 8 repertoire. I started learning guitar at 14 and have played lead guitar in several different bands over the years. As well as the piano and guitar, I'm also an accomplished music producer.

My lessons are tailored to suit the needs of each individual student - whether that be to work through the ABRSM syllabus, for example, or to just learn more casually. I cover a range of styles, from classical to contemporary, and can provide an introduction to songwriting for those who want to take a more creative approach. I like to keep lessons as varied and interesting as possible, so as to avoid too much repetition. I'm laid-back and patient and like to work at a pace that is comfortable for each student.
