Personal Description:
Welcome! With over 10 years of experience in vocal coaching, it's safe to say teaching and singing are my true passions. There's nothing more rewarding than guiding each student on their own personal musical journey and helping them discover confidence in their unique voices. Alongside teaching, I’m an active performer—whether it’s on stage in musicals or as a professional soprano, I’m constantly immersed in the world of music, and would love to share that with you.
When I’m not teaching, I help to foster and re-home abandoned pets, and love cooking, swimming, and hiking - and of course seeing live music and visiting the theatre.
Tutoring Experience:
With years of experience, my journey as a singing teacher has been exciting and diverse. I’ve had the privilege of guiding students through everything from casual singing lessons to intensive audition prep, and leading workshops that inspire and challenge. Many of my students have taken on (and all have passed!) ABRSM singing and LCM musical theatre exams. As a musical director, I've brought musicals and concerts to life, and currently I lead two incredible choirs - the highlight of my week!
I’m also committed to my own growth as a performer and teacher, continually training with my own teacher to ensure I’m always at the top of my game for my students, and singing professionally on a regular basis.
Whether you’re 8 or 108, a complete beginner or a West End performer, I welcome singers of all levels - so come give it a go!
Tutoring Approach:
As a teacher, I pride myself on being flexible and adaptable to each student’s unique needs and goals. With my broad experience, I’m equipped to cover a wide range of vocal skills, and I’ve worked with students who approach singing in many different ways. I’m a lifelong learner, regularly training with three specialist teachers to keep my voice in peak condition and to ensure I’m delivering the most relevant high-quality knowledge to my students.
If you're interested in following a traditional vocal path, I can help you map out your exam grading journey and guide you through every step. On the other hand, if you're preparing for an upcoming performance or event and need a quick refresher (or even a crash course!), I’m here to make that happen. For those seeking more casual voice training—whether you're in a vocally demanding job or just want to improve your car-radio singing—together, we can explore how to produce a voice that is healthy and free.
At the core of my teaching is a simple truth: singing should be fun and good for the soul! While hitting the right notes is important, the joy of making music—any sound, in fact—is what truly makes singing special. This is the philosophy I live by and pass on to my students.
I’m happy to teach singers of all levels in-person at my rehearsal space in Harold Hill or online. I’d love to hear from you, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

I really recommend Rebecca because she doesn't waste time and gets a lot done in an hour. Hopefully she'll be able to have more students that will say the same.
She is such a kind and patient teacher as well as so talented.
It is great seeing my daughter improve week by week.
Thank you Rebecca
