Personal Description:

I am a cellist (graduated from the Royal College of Music) who works as a tutor for Lambeth Music service and also teaches privately. I am currently offering online tuition and face to face tuition both for piano and cello. I come from a large and musical family, meaning I have experience with all ages and different types of abilities. I am a very flexible person and try to be as understanding of each individual person as possible. I have experience performing solo recitals (such as part of WInchester festival) as well as chamber music and in orchestras and would encourage a pupil to do similar if they have a passion there. I am lively and energetic and enjoy problem solving and thinking outside the box as I understand every person is unique.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching piano and cello to adults and children alike as well as having experience teaching multiple pupils with additional needs. My work with Lambeth Music Service makes me a confident whole class teacher whilst I also have a lot of experience teaching small group and individual lessons. My mother is a cello and piano teacher we will often share ideas. I have also taken my teaching diploma

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music tuition is that it should be fun. Every person is different and I feel it is important to respond to the individual so I try to build a relationship with the pupil so that I can teach them best and take on board their aims.
