Personal Description:
I am a highly qualified performer and teacher with many years experience in the music business either on stage, on TV or radio. I'm a professional jazz singer & pianist, cellist, and a choral conductor, composer and musical director.
I have performed on 'Top of the Pops', and at top music venues such as The Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican. My music has been played on TV, radio, in theatrical and dance productions and at contemporary music festivals.
My students have included celebrities such as Joss Stone and sports presenter Gabbi Logan and You Tube stars such as Jasmine Thompson. I coach students to successfully pass auditions for West End musicals and theatre schools.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a self employed private music tutor since 1996. I've been teaching online via Zoom since March 2020 and also offer face-to-face lessons.
I have taught at The City Lit adult education institute in Central London since 2010 and I've taught the BTEC Music Performance and BA degree course at Morley College since 2019.
I was Head of Centre for The Centre for Young Musicians (Kensington & Chelsea) from 2006 - 2009 and have taught for many of Londons music services.
I taught singing to musical theatre students for their Diploma at CPS Studios in Romford from 2013 - 2015.
From 1999 - 2002 I was the singing coach and conductor for The Lambeth Education Action Zone Choral Project 2000, conducting massed choirs of 270 children on stage at The Royal Festival Hall, The Queen Elizabeth Hall and The Purcell Room.
I've also taught adult choirs such as The Sing for Pleasure Choir at Richmond Adult Education College in 2007 - 2008.
I have a current DBS check.

I offer both Zoom online lessons and face-to-face lessons at my studio in Sudbury, Suffolk.
