Personal Description:
I love music. Playing the piano has been always been a part of my life and to be able to pass on the enjoyment of making music to others is very special to me.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching piano and music theory for over 10 years to a wide selection of students of all ages and abilities.
Tutoring Approach:
Music is a very personal thing, one that you have to enjoy to do well. We are all different which is why I teach each student differently. You may wish to learn to play the piano purely for the enjoyment thereof or you may wish to enter for exams or competitions. I will tailor your lessons according to what you hope to gain from learning music, with enough guidance to promote progression.

Peter suggested some new music to me which I love and is helping me regain my piano playing skills which I have neglected over the last few years. He is very flexible about arranging lessons which suits me perfectly, so I am able to schedule them as frequently or infrequently as I need. Peter is exactly the kind of teacher I was hoping to find - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and encouraging.

I'd definitely recommend Peter to anyone, as he will listen to what you want to achieve out of the piano and tailor the lessons to your goals and the kind of music you want to play. It's very different to the lessons I had in the past.
