Biography
Tse Fu (Oli ) was born on 10 March 1998 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Widely recognised as one of the most versatile and forward-thinking artists of his generation, Oli has been awarded the distinguished Global Talent and Exceptional Promise endorsement by Arts Council England. He is active not only as a concert pianist, but also as a collaborative director and producer, constantly redefining the boundaries of artistic expression.

Renowned for his expressive depth and imaginative interpretation, Oli has performed extensively across the United Kingdom and internationally. Notable appearances include the Ulverston Festival, the Chipping Campden Festival, and performances in Bolzano, Italy. He also featured in the Beethoven 250 Festival in Birmingham, which was broadcast by La Scala Radio and Classic FM. Among his most memorable performances is Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with conductor Daniele Rosina and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra.

Oli is equally devoted to chamber music and is a passionate advocate for both traditional and contemporary repertoire. His musical fluency extends beyond the classical canon; he is also a skilled jazz trumpeter and a contemporary music producer, with his original works available on Spotify and iTunes - showcasing his determination to transcend conventional musical boundaries.

In 2021, Oli directed an insightful documentary in partnership with the Edinburgh Society of Musicians. The film explored the intersection of music and the visual arts, highlighting his interdisciplinary approach and curiosity for new creative dialogues.

Education and Artistic Training
Oli's musical development has been shaped through education at some of the UK’s leading conservatoires. He holds a Master’s degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland which consistently ranked among the world’s top performing arts institutions - and graduated with First-Class Honours from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. At the age of 17, he commenced studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
He has been mentored by esteemed pianists such as Stephen Coombs, Daniel Browell, Sanae Nakajima, and Chenyin Li, and has refined his artistry through masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians including Steven Osborne, Peter Donohoe, Tom Ostrovskis, and Colin Stone.

Educational Leadership and Professional Excellence
Oli Lin’s career extends far beyond the concert stage. He is a committed and visionary educator who has made substantial contributions to the UK independent school sector, working across teaching, leadership, pastoral care, and data strategy.

At Myddelton College in North Wales, he simultaneously held three demanding roles:

1. Strategic Examinations and Data Management Officer, where he provided valuable insights into qualification frameworks and supported senior leadership teams through robust data analysis and systems management.

2. Pastoral Leader and Assistant Boarding Housemaster, with extensive safeguarding training and a deep-seated commitment to student welfare within a residential setting.

3. Associate Director of Music Performance, where he led a flourishing music department, curated engaging performance programmes, and inspired students to explore their artistic potential.

Currently, Oli serves as Head of Music and Assistant to the Head of Boarding at David Game College in London. Here, he continues to shape the lives of young people through his visionary leadership, nurturing environment, and artistic mentorship.
