Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Oli.

I'm been hitting drums for around 15 years now and haven't been more in love with them. They have taken me to far away lands and enabled me to see some beautiful sights and meet some wonderful people, on tours, at festivals and for **Contact Detail Removed**vision. There are truly no bounds with music and I love passing on what I have learnt from the many tutors I have had over the years at various establishments and people I have studied under. (Robert Brian, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bruce Treasure, Subhumans… ) this has made me a Rock drummer. However as the years have gone by I've studied a lot of funk and jazz. I love teaching all genres.



I have an extensive collection of gear (of which all is at your disposal) and a full UK driving license (wheels to match) please get in touch to see what we can do together!

Tutoring Experience:

I teach from home, for schools and for The Trinity Centre for the past 6 years. This is teaching drums to disadvantaged individuals and kids/adults with learning disabilities.

I've been teaching from my home for 5 years now, with 2 drum kits facing eachother in a specialised room. I have taught many people over the years ranging all ages and expertise. There is always more to learn!

Tutoring Approach:

I'm very much a firm believer that a relaxed atmosphere encourages creativity, so I encourage that. A cuppa and a catch up before the lesson always helps with leaving the stress of the day at the door so we can have a productive and enjoyable session. However if you need to crack on and get drumming, I'm all for it!

I teach what you want to learn, with a bit of extra stuff you maybe didnt know you wanted to learn sprinkled on top.
