Personal Description:

Hi,
I am Nuno, a professional London-based drummer, with plenty of performing and teaching experience. I graduated from a BMus Popular Music Performance degree at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2019 with First Honours, and I've been playing and studying music, and more specifically drums for 16 years.

In that time, I've been involved in several bands and other projects, and I've taught drums and percussion to people with ages ranging from 4 to 55. I am also the drums auditioning tutor for ICMP, and I am a Rockshool-accredited teacher.

I am passionate about music and drums, and also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years. As I currently have the chance to take on a few more students, I'm happy to teach people of all ages and levels, as I'd love to inspire more people to play music, be it as a dream or just a hobby. My sessions are entirely based on the individual needs and abilities of each student.

I have a full remote teaching setup from home, consisting of 3 high-quality camera angles, professional sound quality and a digital whiteboard, which allows us to swap learning materials very easily. This allows for our lessons to be more flexible and affordable, as it cuts down on travel times and costs.

My lessons are light and fun, as well as educative and will help you (and/or yours) reach your drumming goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive teaching experience, including:
- Teaching weekly 1-2-1 Drums and Percussion lessons at a Philharmonic Music School for a year (4 students, ages 5-13);
- Teaching 1-2-1 Drum lessons in London for over 5 years (multiple students, ages 4-55).

Tutoring Approach:

My lessons will vary depending on the student's level/goal. I have taught students of all skill levels, which has prompted me to develop appropria**Contact Detail Removed**sson plans, rhythms, and different lesson lengths (30min-2h), locations and gear (studio, living room, with pads and/or drum kits) and adjust the frequency (bi-weekly, weekly, etc).

Regardless of age or level, my lessons are tailored to each student, to facilitate a better progress, and cohesion between classes and techniques, subjects, etc.
