Personal Description:
I have been a professional guitarist all my working life- having extensive live, and recording experience ( radio and TV). I have also toured UK,USA, Europe, and the Middle East. I have played on numerous albums**Removed By Admin**
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught the guitar since the late 1970's during which time I have tutored in most styles. I have Grade 8 classical guitar from The Royal College Of Music, and have studied Jazz guitar with Ike Isaacs (Hot Club De France).My current age range of students is from six to seventy years old, encompassing most styles.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach with pupils is to ask them to select their top twenty pieces of music- the things that made them want to play in the first place- and then show them how to play using their choices as the vehicle. The emphasis is on the pupil making their own decisions in order to develop musicianship and their own style.
