Personal Description:

Hello My name is Ned and I have been a professional musician and guitar teacher for more than ten years. During that time I have gained a wealth of experience from teaching privately and for schools and studios. I have taught students of all ages and abilities developing my own teaching syllabus in the process, although I am also able to teach the Trinity and Rockschool as well.

Tutoring Experience:

With over a decade extensive teaching an performing experience I have developed a solid reputation as a reliable and efficient teacher and musician. I have taught guitar and bass to many students of all ages from complete beginner to post grade 8 level helping them to achieve there goals.

I have also worked at Sanctuary studios in Watford where I taught the NCFE music performance classes and wrote much of the curriculum, as well as working as a side man and playing countless gigs and weddings.

I have also been fortunate enough to have played with many talented musicians playing guitar in musical theatre productions, such as Legally Blonde, Our House, Fiddler on the roof, Sister Act and Hairspray to name a few.

Tutoring Approach:

My goal as a music teacher is to inspire and I tailor the lessons to meet the needs of each student with a view towards learning complete songs. I am a RGT registered teacher and also CRB checked, Lessons are held at my home studio or at sanctuary studios in Watford. I am also able to make house visits provided its with in a reasonable distance. So wheather you are looking to do your grades or need help learning your favourite songs anyone is welcome.
