Personal Description:
I am an experienced piano teacher based in Cardiff. I have professional qualifications such as my music degree from Cardiff University and Post Gradate Diploma in Music from the Open University.
I have a varied interest in lots of different types of music from classical, popular, rock and jazz styles. I have have experience performing solo piano and in bands across the UK.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching for over ten years since I graduated in music in 2009. I have taught piano and keyboards privately at home and through Gwent Music Service teaching in primary and secondary schools as well as in colleges.
I have entered over 130 pupils through the ABRSM graded exams and all pupils have received passes, merits and distinctions. I also teach music theory up to Grade 5.
Tutoring Approach:
Music is my passion and I bring that enthusiasm to my piano lessons. I teach all ages and all levels from absolute beginners to Grade 8. I also teach those who don't want to learn for exams but want to learn for fun as a hobby.
I now offer online piano lessons through FaceTime/Zoom
