I have played drums for 30 years and am a member of the "Drumsense" teaching programme, a worldwide network of professional drum tutors using the proven Drumsense teaching resource. Drumsense is a programme based on books and playalong material by contemporary players and teachers and is suitable for both children and adults. I am CRB checked, and can offer lessons in my "studio," via Skype, or the student's home in the Wirral, Liverpool and Chester areas…

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching drums for several years now both on acoustic kits and also via electronic set ups linked with computers. I can therefore deliver tuition via Skype into the student's home utilising the latest technology in sound recording and production. I have been teaching the Drumsense programme for the last year and find it an excellent resource that produces enjoyable lessons and great creative results.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music tuition revolves around a a philosophy of having fun first and foremost - after all, we all play music for pleasure whatever our abilities or environment! I deliver friendly and enjoyable tuition in a relaxed atmosphere that follows a structured yet flexible format that fits well with other teaching resources and the preferences of the student.
