Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching the violin and viola for over thirty years, having taken pupils from beginner through to diploma standard, membership of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, entrance to music college and university.

I have taught in the UK, Germany and the Caribbean. In my teaching I draw on the approaches of Kodaly and Dalcroze, along with the string teaching philosophies of Rolland and Suzuki.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is very much catered towards the individual. I have a wealth of experience to draw on, and am a sympathetic teacher that believes that music lessons should be an enjoyable experience.
